Small, shielded power inductor handles up to 3.75 A

Coilcraft’s (Cary, IL) XPL2010 Series of ultra-small, magnetically shielded power inductors combine desirable current handling, low DC resistance and inductance values up to 220 μH in a 1.9-mm X 2.0-mm package. The XPL2010 Series offers DCR as low as 0.027 Ohms and current ratings up to 3.75 A. They are available with 22 inductance values ranging from 0.20 μH to 220 μH, and their soft saturation characteristics make them appropriate for point-of-load (POL) DC/DC converter applications. The inductors:

• Are AEC-Q200 Grade 1 (-40°C to +125°C) qualified for use in harsh automotive environments.
• Feature RoHS compliant silver-copper (96.5/3/0.5) over tin over nickel over silver-platinum terminations.
• Offer a maximum reflow temperature of 260°C. COTS Plus tin-lead terminations are also available.
