The Stratix 5100� Wireless Access Point/Workgroup Bridge can be used in an autonomous or a Cisco Unified network. This device is ideal for providing connectivity in hard-to-wire and remotely accessible areas, which can increase productivity and efficiency on the plant floor.
Meets widely adopted IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n standards
Allows same device to be used as a Wireless Access Point (autonomous) or Work Group Bridge (autonomous or a Cisco Unified network)
Allows up to 19 IP addresses to be connected via Stratix 5100 in Work Group Bridge mode
Offers device pre-programmed with default configuration for priority handling of EtherNet/IP and ships in a kit including:
Includes four external dual-band dipole antennas supporting 3x4 multiple-input/multiple-output (MIMO) feature with three spatial streams for improved latency and jitter performance
Includes 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz dual-band radios
Includes external power supply and Universal mounting bracket
Offers Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) powered device (additional PoE power sourcing equipment required, i.e. Stratix 5700� switch PoE, Stratix 8000�, and Stratix 8300� expansion module PoE)
Includes Premier Integration to the Rockwell Automation Integrated Architecture� system
Includes Cisco IOS for performance with Device Manager and CLI configuration options
Includes FactoryTalk� View & AOI Faceplate for status monitoring and alarming
