The Broadcom BCM7540 is an MPEG-4 AVC high-definition ISDB-T digital terrestrial converter box solution.Broadcom’s BCM7540 is an MPEG-4 AVC high-definition ISDB-T digital terrestrial converter box solution. The ISDB-T product is designed specifically to support South America's transition to digital TV programming. The SoC has an integrated tuner, digital channel demodulator and HD decoder. The BCM7540 meets the digital terrestrial converter box requirements for ISDB-T standardized countries worldwide. The BCM7540 is able to receive satellite broadcasting and provide support for MPEG-4, AVC and HDMI, and DVR capabilities.
