Global Positioning System

In the years that followed, Rockville introduced a range of extraordinary products. The original North American aviation division introduced the B-1 bomber after the incorporation of Rockville, built the space shuttle and established a global positioning system. Rocketdyne, a rocket engine manufacturer stripped from North American Airlines in 1955, was re-acquired in 1984, when Rocketdyne occupied most of the US rocket engine market. Rockwell also acquired the Light Commercial Aircraft Manufacturer Air Commander Company and introduced the newly designed Rockville Commander 112 and 114 aircraft.

Desktop calculator

North American Airlines once built a MOSFET-based desktop calculator for its engineers. After Rockville acquired North American Airlines in 1967, it established a factory specializing in the production of such a calculator, which later became Rockwell Semiconductor. Rockwell Semiconductor's modem chip is its most famous product.

Audio decoder chip

Conexant provides audio chips to US manufacturers such as Hewlett-Packard, Dell and Thinkpad. The main chip models are CX20468, CX20493, etc. of Conexant AC97, and CX20561, CX20549 and CX20708 of Conexant HD Audio.
