Founded in 1945 as a custom coil maker for the television set manufacturers, Coilcraft is a privately held company based in Cary, IL. Today they produce inductors for telecommunications, computers, instrumentation and consumer electronics. Many are standard, off-the-shelf products, but most are still custom designed to meet customers' specific requirements.
